Shipping Acoustic Panels Worldwide: MST Acoustics Export Program Explained

An acoustic panel order is only as good as its last kilometer — the ocean crossing, the customs desk, the delivery bay. MST Acoustics ships to distribution partners across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, and the export program behind those shipments is a product in its own right. Here is how it works.

Mixed containers as the standard structure

Few distributors need a container of one thing. Our standard order structure consolidates wall panels, ceiling baffles, wood slat panels and accessories in a single container — maximizing value density for light, volumetric products, cutting freight cost per square meter, and simplifying the paperwork to one shipment instead of three. Container loading plans are calculated before order confirmation, so buyers know utilization before they commit.

Packing standards, applied every time

  • Moisture-barrier wrapping on every stack, with foam interlayers on veneered products.
  • Corner protection on all stacks; edges are where transit damage lives.
  • Engineered palletizing with maximum stack heights and banding — bottom layers never carry crushing load.
  • Airbag bracing and lashing in the container; gaps filled, nothing loose.

Documentation and visibility

Every shipment ships with the commercial pack (invoice, packing list, certificates of origin as required) plus the project document set — fire, absorption and material certificates on request. Before departure, customers receive pre-loading photographs of their packed and secured goods. Arrival surprises should be limited to how fast the installation goes.

Lead times and damage handling

Standard lead times are published per product family and confirmed at order; stock programs ship fastest, and project orders are scheduled against production slots. When damage does occur — our ocean-freight rate runs below 0.5% — claims with photographs within 14 days of arrival are handled by replacement in the next shipment, no negotiation theater.

Built for reorder, not one-shot sales

The deepest design principle in our export program is the restocking cycle: partners who reorder on schedule get reserved slots, matched color batches and predictable landed costs. The program rewards planning — and the planning is exactly what our sales team is for. Send us your market, your volume forecast and your product mix; we will build the shipping structure around them.
