Look at any recently completed office, school or hospitality project and you will see why we invested here: the ceiling is where modern acoustics happen. MST Acoustics has expanded its ceiling product line with a broader baffle and cloud series, giving distributors and specifiers more sizes, finishes and suspension options from a single supplier.
What is new in the range
- Vertical baffles in standard formats with engineered suspension cables and fixing hardware — the workhorse for open ceilings over collaboration zones and atriums.
- Horizontal clouds in square and rectangular formats, floating below exposed slabs where vertical baffles do not suit the architecture.
- Finishes and colors matched to our wall panel palette, so walls and ceilings can be specified from one color system — a detail designers ask for and rarely find.
- Custom fabrication — CNC-cut shapes, printed baffles and project-specific layouts for signature spaces.
Why ceiling treatment keeps winning
Furniture and floors absorb little; a hard slab reflects everything back into the room. Suspending baffles or clouds puts absorption exactly where the sound field is — with no floor area lost and no wall changed. In open-plan projects, ceiling treatment typically delivers the majority of the required absorption, which is why acoustic consultants now specify it first and walls second.
Specified with data, installed with hardware
Every configuration in the series carries ISO 354 absorption data and the fire documentation our range is known for (EN 13501-1 B-s1,d0 / ASTM E84). Shipments include suspension hardware and layout drawings, and our technical team supports quantity takeoff and spacing recommendations based on room dimensions and target reverberation.
Availability
The expanded series is in production now, with stock programs for standard formats and project lead times for custom configurations. Distributors can request the full technical pack and sample set from our sales team — and see the new series in the updated catalog.
