Acoustic damping panels use high-density inorganic materials combined with sound insulation materials and additional polymer intermediate damping compounds. The highly-damping constrained layer impedes the transmission of damping vibration, and the reduction in sound transmission of the sound insulation board will sound decrease the loss in the gap of the degrees of separation.

W-25G or W-20G?
The grades differ in areal density and damping layer build-up — selection follows the target sound reduction; we advise per partition.
How is it fixed?
Screwed to studs with staggered joints and sealed perimeters; detail issued with the order.
Does it replace mass?
It complements mass — the damping layer kills coincidence dip that plain board suffers.
