Why high density in a thin cavity?
Denser fill resists sound passage when depth is limited — it recovers much of the performance lost to shallow builds.
Does it add much weight?
96 kg/m³ at 50 mm is about 4.8 kg/m² — confirm your wall build-up can carry it.
Is it moisture-sensitive?
The water-repellent white cotton option is for humid spaces.
