Acoustic Wood Slat Wall Panel

Slatted acoustic panels combine two acoustic functions in a single panel: the timber battens
scatter sound waves (diffusion) while the recycled PET felt backing absorbs them. The result is a
livelier, more balanced room than absorption alone — which is why slatted panels are specified
so widely in offices, restaurants, hotels and residential interiors.

Installation

Spot-glue the back, or fix with black screws through the felt.
Use 15 screws per panel; set out battens at 60 mm centres.
Ceilings must always be screw-fixed.
Panels can be shortened from the back with a fine-toothed blade.
Acclimatise panels on site before fixing, as the timber content may carry a natural wood odour.

Frequently asked

Can you match an existing timber finish?
Yes — send a sample or a RAL / NCS reference. We match veneer and stain and issue a control sample for written approval before production starts.

Do the panels need a separate acoustic backing?
No. The recycled PET felt is factory-bonded to the battens, so diffusion and absorption arrive in one 22 mm panel.

Can the panels be cut on site?
Yes. Panels can be shortened from the back with a fine-toothed blade, and the cut edge sits against a wall, trim or shadow gap.
